The hotel is very convenient for those who like to walk to the city. The restaurant is excellent and well priced. Value for money related to closeness to the city. Had excellent service from one staff member in particular. Unfortunately we had a discourteeous staff member checking us out, to the extent that I may write with her staff number to the Management. All the others were very good.

Beautiful hotel, clean and freindly enviroment, staff were always helpful and polite. Room service was excellent, always came quickly and tasted lovely. Our room was much bigger than expected and was very clean! We booked a number of tours at recpeption it is so easy to do the staff literally do everything for you :) Your not that far from orchard shopping centre about a ten minute walk but there are many more shops and markets to choose from that are even closer. Me and my other two freinds would definatly go back we had a great time :)

York Hotel is off-Orchard so there's a few minutes walk going there - it could be a bit tiring after a day's shopping since the road going back to the hotel is uphill. What's nice is it's conveniently located in the middle of Orchard Road, along Paragon Mall and Lucky Mall which is near a bus stop. The food was excellent with a great room service- we ordered Singaporean Rojak & Wanton soup. The only downside was we requested for a queen bed but the only available room was 2 single bed. Nonetheless, everything was remarkable.

Breakfast buffet daily menu needs to have more change of variety. They served the same food every day.

the hotel should supply toothbrush and toothpaste,since the hotel is supplying soap and shampoo to bath,people need to clean their mouth too..
