Should improve more facility Very good view on Little India

WE REALLY FEEL COMFORTABLE IS STAYING AT THE METROPOLITAN Y HOTEL SINGAPORE. WE HAD THE RIGHT DECISION IN CHOOSING THIS HOTEL. THE ROOM IS WELL-VENTILATED.

The hotel is a bit far from Orchard Road but there's a bus stop right outside so it's very convenient. The hotel has a pool but you're only allowed to use it within very limited hours eg 12-2pm, when they don't have swimming lessons on. Also we requested one big bed and they gave us to singles - we had to threaten to leave before they moved us. The room was a good size but the bathroom and shower were very small.

Good facility, except wireless internet was not strong enough in the room The room we stay was probably a smoking room. Need improvement to get rid of the smell.

The room was too expensive for what it was. We could only use the pool at certain times, this was not mentioned on the website at the time of booking. There was renovations going on and no discount was given for this inconvenience . The room looked nothing like the room shown on the internet photo, we were very disappointed. The shower door was broken and the shower should be cleaned more thouroughly or be renovated. The toilet did not flush properly. The room was spartan. The 15% charge for room service is a joke.

The front desk staff had been very helpful no provison of cup & saucer for making coffee.

A great, good value hotel.

Internet access may be a good thing. the shower needs some attention, I couldn't remember exactly what.

I enjoyed my stay, but one taxi driver refused to take me to the hotel from near Chinatown, he did not say why, maybe it was too far. Otherwise was ok. Good service desk and cafeteria soap dispenser difficult to use, not in good condition, otherwise ok. I did ask for a double bed when making booking from Bangkok, and received single.

good value for money but a little too far from Orchard Road

The hotel management has to improve on the water pressure which is very low and not pleasant to shower. The aircondition vent rattled

I spoke to other people who were staying in Singapore and they told me the cost of their motel and it was around the same price as mine, but in a better location, had more stars and they were very happy with it. I paid a reasonable amount of money and got a room with no windows, a dirty old cupboard and an unclean bathroom. My bed was fine, but the wooden cupboard was very old and looked dirty. I didn't put my clothes in there.
