I wish you would provide information on how to get to the hotel from the airport using the MRT. I assumed wrongly that one alights at Orchard since the hotel's address said Orchard. Alas, I needed to alight in another station (Dhoby Gaut) to be near the hotel. There are little details that are valued like this one which would make a lot of difference.

Front desk staff and operators were poor at conveying messages from callers. Selection at breakfast was limited and boring after 2 days. Twin beds in the room left little space left over. Television had only a few local channels. Housekeeping was very helpful with laundry ahead of the weekend.

The food served at the cafeteria for breakfast is quite atrocious. Whilst breakfast may be complementary, that is no excuse for lousy food. In addition, the waiting staff are rather curt and sullen. We noticed that food was being removed from the buffet table even before 10.00am, and guests who arrived a little after 10am for breakfast were told that there was no food available. The YMCA may be budget accomodation, but that is no excuse for rudeness and bad service. Reception staff were, however, very pleasant. Whilst I have no complaints about the room, it is rather a tight squeeze, even for a couple and one infant.

The internet room should be open 24 hours instead of 2

YMCA is good hotel. But, I feel sorry for my patience was tested at reception before getting my room. Actually I asked to reserve a room (despite of tarrif) from 6 am. But, they did not alloted me room until 11:30 am. I waited at reception, after having long and tiring journey. This is not good. Not only me. But some other people who stayed and whom I met in YMCA during my stay also expressed this problem. This is not satisfactory.

I am a budget traveler and do not want for much. What I needed the YMCA supplied and I felt at home there. The breakfast had good choices as well.

Room is small, but enough for traveller who spend all day at road for shopping.

gym is sometimes not open. breakfast is good, but monotonous for a long stay. this room with two beds is fine for one, but small for two.

I liked everything but when I asked them to give me a wake up call they did not do it, I was lucky that I am a early riser, otherwise I would have mssed my flight,

if the price can be reduce Will be better,because after convert to our Malaysia currency still is expensive to us.

To compliment the boiling water facilities provided, tea & coffee sachet's would have been appreciated. As a married couple we would have preferred the option of a double.

Toilet in room 603 ran on after flushing - although this did not bother me, at night it may have disturbed the person in the room next door. Also, shower screen did not properly close - again not a particular issue for myself.

Location was the reason I chose this hotel and I am satisfied for it. The roof top pool was also good.
