Should have more seating in the reception area. Continental Breakfast Menu should be changed daily. Should be provided with more amenities like tea/ coffee and ironing board.

YMCA's swimming pool is the best that I have seen in Singapore. I is good for doing swimming exercises and laps. Other more luxurious hotels have fancy pools but are only fit for the "wader" and not the swimmer. YMCA's cleaning ladies are so hardworking. They "insist" to make our room daily.

Cooked breakfast was luke warm/cold (ie eggs, beans)which was disappointing. Not overly friendly atmosphere for a back packer type facility. Basic but good location. Potentially nice outdoor terrace for breakfact but not well integrated with indoor dining area. Basic but clean. Kettle but disappointed no tea bags or coffee, milk available in room or easily purchased from say front desk.

We loved the roof terrace pool and appreciated the wide choice available for breakfast

It would have been nice to have a few brochures on Singapore available at tha hotel. The room was adequate for our use, although the shower was a bit weak / poor.

Good strategic and accesible. I'm not satisfy with the bathroom. This is because the warm water tap was not functional.

Front office staff can be more friendly. should provide coffee/tea bags

Swimming pool was a great relief from the heat. The kids loved it. There is a construction site next door which can be a little noisy but otherwise very well located.

The staff were very accomodating. For the rate, it is already okay.

My room was at the end of the corridor next to the exit door and was able to hear people (I believe the cleaners)talking quite loudly so not very soundproof.

Not able to book a room for a night in March as the hotel is not able to book more than 2 months in advance.

we have stayed at the ymca a few times over the past 18 months and the only complaint that we allways make is the breakfast is below standard and we feel unhealthy, it is always cold and not cooked propely , we now do not eat breakfast there and feel that we shouldn:t have to pay for it and when we have complained at front desk and in writting as well we just get told its included and we dont have a choice. Its a running joke between us and friends that have also stayed there that it can stay so bad year after year .Just one change can make such a differance to this hotel.

I found the breakfast could have been improved. there were mouldy buns the first morning and the buffet is so-so. Layout was not too convenient. However, in general it is a OK for the location. Bit more attention to details would make it excellent value attractive to stay Small rooms could be made to feel better by a bit more creative interior design

Early checkin was oked on confirmation but was refused when arrived early with three little children after a night flight Making us walk around for five hours

During my stay I developed a very serious case of conjunctivitis which required hospital treatment. I can only think this was caught either from the pillowcases or towels. I mentioned it the staff upon checking out but they showed no interest. Can you ensure that all linen and towels etc are washed in hot water. I know this is probably a one off case but it was extremely painful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone else

The hotel is strategically located near the MRT station which made it very convenient. The rooms and toilet were also very clean.

Excellent service from the desk staff. Gave us lots of information regarding any questions we asked especially directions. Appreciated being able to leave our heavy packs after checkout until time to head for the airport. It provided everything we needed for our stay which was unfortunately only one night but would certainly recommend your establishment to other people.

The money spent in the hotel is worth it. Good location. Its near the Dhoby Gaut station and a bus stop which makes it accessible anywhere in Singapore. the room was clean and they have good airconditioning
