Safety guard (railing) is highly recommended on higher floors opposite the lifts for security of small children. All rooms do not have double bed, only 2 single beds. Available when first inquired through e-mail. Should have told us if double bed not available.

Great location

Small room but very clean. Bit too noisy from neighbouring rooms.

Poor for taxis stopping to drop off or pick up. There are double yellow lines outside the main entrance; and we were rushed to get off or pay; and when you are unfamiliar with the currency, feels uncomfortable. will come again!

The value for money and service fell slightly below our expectations. Location is no problem with the MRT station nearby. It will be more welcoming if coffee and tea provided in the room.

The location is very suited for all constumers that really like to go out shopping. It is very near to MRT station. The location is very strategic and easy to find. The room was so nice and comfortable. In my opinion, i hope there should be a large room avaiable especially those who have a big family.

Booked room for 4 people on internet booking site, then when arrived at hotel we were charged for an extra bed. that was not how the room was booked. Disapointed.

For value-for-money and location, given this is Singapore, I found this hotel to be very good. The staff were very accommodating when I asked to change to a quieter room and I found the service staff and cleaning staff very friendly. The buffet-style breakfast had a good range of selections even though you can't say it was quite 5 star quality, but it is good value given the cost of the accommodation package and they try to cater for a range of tastes. It is clear that this is a Christian-centred YMCA and there were quite a number of families and older travellers at the time I stayed. The location is a plus, being at one-end of Orchard Road meant it was pretty easy to catch public transport or taxi's to other locations and/or to walk to interesting locales. There was some confusion with my establishing my booking, which was frustrating, but eventually HolidayCity staff were also very apologetic and were able to provide good service. There were no problems with my checking in or out of this hotel.

The breakfast could do with some improvement. Or at least the guests should be given the option to 'opt out' if they wish. It is good to see that the hotel offers hot water kettle in the room. And i like the fact that the bathroom windows can be opened for those who want some fresh air!

You have provided a hot pot and cup. Even if you charge a dollar more please provide 2 tea bags and coffee puches, creamer, sugar pouches

overall service are good, except for the staff of cafe, not friendly and not helpful.

Teabags and instant coffee would be good, but the cafe did give me a tea bag so I could make tea in my room

Excellent value for money, lots going on within the hotel for the local community. Set lunches were excellent at S$8 each plus tax etc. A short walk to the an MRT interchange and a bus stop just outside. Staff were exceptionally friendly, which includes the housekeeping staff. We were made to feel most welcome and were sorry to leave at the end of our holiday. There was enough room to sleep 2 adults and a 16 year old on single beds. Room had a shower, TV, fridge, tea making facilities, a safe and air condidtioned.

Nice looking facility Bed was somewhat small and room was a little warm but once I turned on the Aircon it was a nice temperature

It would be nice to have a few teabags or coffee sachets provided.

the service was good and i would be happy to stay again. the room was clean and adequate for my needs.

Breakfast could be better. There were two guests using the room. A key for each of the guest would have been more convenient. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Fact towels in addition to the bath towels would be nice.

A little note for the front desk staff - should have the motto 'service with a smile'. Otherwise overall the hotel is an excellence place to stay in.

Prefer to be a bit cheaper Overall good but experience a power trip for 20mins
