It would have helped if in the hotel description they also mentioned that there is a railway station 5 minutes walk away which is on the city loop. I walked into the centre the first morning then when I checked the map realised that the railway station at Redfern was very close to the hotel.

A resturant was "advertised" but wasn't available when I asked. Compact, but clean and modern. All you would need for a short stay.

Hotel is 8 mins form central station and the walk to it is a little shady looking as you go past some boarded up buildings but really it is fine. If your on your own and female you may feel a little intimdated. Otherwise ths staff are really superb, very, very friendly and helpful. make sure you ask for brakfast to be included as its very handy as not many shops restaurants nearby. Great location for the very cheap price in Sydney as many others we saw were very expensive. Room is incredibly small. BUT, it is more than adequate for short < week stays and is clean and well looked after.

Not clean, we were taken another hotel in the city centre!

The only let down was the breakfast, very poor selection. For the budget, room very good value, and fairly decent location.

We found the location to be handy to many points of interest. The room proved to be very small but as we spent very little time rhere it was of little consequence.

Hotel was clean, and breakfast was very good! The only comment I could say about the room is that it was a bit too small!....Apart from it, everything else was perfect!

We had no problems with this hotel whatsoever and would definitely stay there again. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed.

not bad location and not far from the city either and mangement was good. and the breakfast not a bad thing. i would come back again. sure the room was not big. but it was just enough space for 2 persons .for the price one can not complain.

About 40 mins on foot to Sydney harbour. Convenient for a one-nighter, but bear in mind that for about 20AUD more per night, you could be right at the harbour. Very very tiny, barely space for 2 normal adults and 3 large bags. Coffee maker located in bathroom. Using the bathroom was like going in one's closet.

staff were very nice, helpfull. hotel was well presented. the rooms were small, but this didnt matter - we had everything we needed. the room was nice, modern, clean... all this made up for the size.

Very friendly staff. Very clean but small. OK for overnight stay for a show or function. Too small for an extended stay.

The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent value for money in terms of being such a short walk to the cities main attractions.It was great to relax on the upstairs balcony during breakfast and in the evenings. We found that it was excellent to have breakfast included in the price as not many hotels offer this service. The room was just very tidy and had everything that we required.
