Well situated close to Sydney CBD and great restaurants..Walking distance to harbour and Parks....Good location....Needs in Breakfast Restaurant the availability of a cooked breakfast....

Swimming pool could do with an update. Surrounding area of hotel run down and outlook poor. Room and fittings were a littyle tired and run down

Supposedly informed somebody that room not available because of air-can and fridge but could not produce evidence of communication. Offered another apartment at Waldorf's other premises but rejected as nowhere near city centre.In end took room but got no reduction only a bottle of wine from manager.Hotel seems confused as to whether it is timeshare, redidential or wanting casual bookings.Super large accomodation,looking quite "tired" room serviced once a week.Frugal breakfast Air conditioning did not work but provided mobile fan-unsatisfactory

excellent breakfast. we loved our view over the botanical gardens.

When we arrived and when we left, there was nobody at the reception, which made check-in and check-out difficult.

Needed a paint job but otherwise fine, if shabby.

The only negative about the hotel was the smell in the lifts and the passageway to the bedrooms. It had something of the quality of faeces. I' can't imagine how it came to be. Perhaps there had been a leak in the sewerage system. I overcame the problem in my room by burning fragrant candles and in any case it wasn't so bad in the room once I'd opened the windows. It was particularly good to have openable windows. It would have been good to have a little bit more equipment in the kitchen, eg a vase and a coffe plunger and more glasses.
