This hotel is in a very convenient location, a short stroll to the marina and to the centre of town. The public areas are decorated with memorabilia of its woolstore past. There is a small exercise room but no swimming pool.

There are two sections - the old woolstore and a newer add-on with apartments. We were allocated a large room in the old section on the third floor. There was an amazing amount of cupboard space - two floor to ceiling cupboards with drawers and hanging space.

The window was small, though openable. The flyscreen was thick with dirt, so one couldn't see out of the window with any clarity. One can't see the nearby marina due to another large hotel between the Old Woolstore Hotel and the water's edge.

The floor boards squeaked loudly when one walked on them; there were no bed heads just the wall to lean on if one wanted to sit up in bed.

Definitely good value for money despite the above (!) at $A139 per night.

value for $'s was fantastic - to have cooked breakfast included was definitely a bonus. excellent facilities could not fault highly recommend to family & friends.

The separate double room included in the 3 bed apt was clearly a smoking room which smelt very bad to us non-smokers. The rest of the apartment was non-smoking as I had requested.
