The Victoria Hotel is situated near the train station that provides the traveler hassle free traveling around Singapore. Also catching the train to and from the airport is especially convenient.

The double room we booked was very small, but clean and had toiletries provided.

The staff were very friendly and and free internet provided was good to have.

The staff were very helpful and the hotel is conveniently situated. The facilities are adequate but the ambience is functional rather than welcoming and attractive. The entrance to the hotel and foyer do not give a good first impression but the friendliness of the staff make up for this.

Victoria hotel is located along Victoria St. in the heart of Singapore. It is within walking distance of the Raffles Hotel, C.H.I.J.M.E.S hangout, Raffles City Mall, City Hall, Electronics mall and Bugis Square, Singapore Management University, and a short walk and bus ride to Marina Bay, Suntec City, Clarke Quay and Chinatown.

There is a good 24 hour food-centre (prices are a little high relative to other parts of Singapore) located near the hotel and a restaurant and money changer at the ground floor.

Victoria Hotel has small rooms but it is relatively comfortable and the location in the centre of the city of Singapore is quite tough to beat.

This hotel is absolutely value for money, for its price and location, plus its free internet service and local phone calls, it's worthed that much.

Plus the location is very strategic, 7-11 store is located right in front of it, only minutes away from City Hall MRT Station, fast internet connection, clean room.

The only drawback is the room is not carpeted probably since I was staying at singles room and it's not a problem for singles, and also the warm shower was somehow not usable, I havent got a chance to talk to the staff, so I didnt know if it's the standard service to not providing warm shower.

Small boutique hotel with a very friedly atmosphere at the right price for one who wants a clean place to sleep after going about their business or touring in Singapore.
Resaurant provides very nice breakfast, lunch or dinner staff running that are also very friendly and obliging.

My expectation of this hotel before and after arrival is different. It somehow surpass my expectation by a little bit, with a nice touch on the LCD tv in the room.

One thing sad though is that I couldn't get one queen bed, instead was furnish with two single bed joined together. The comforter wasn't big enough to cover both of us.

Overall, it is a good hotel and value for its money. But I would like to stress if possible to change the layout of the bedding arrangement so that the aircond doesn't blow directly at where you are sleeping. So cold.
