My family is happy staying at Victoria Hotel during the holiday season because it is close to Bras Basah MRT station where we can go to all interesting places in Singapore. All staff in the hotel are very helpfull with any information and arrangement for taxi or city tours. Also, we can walk 15 minits straight to Orchard Road shopping center or a beautiful amazing Merlion Park.

Great hotel in good location to all places of interest and the river area. Professional and attentive staff.

The hotel's location is very convenient to bus and train stations and moving around Singapore's tourist destinations and shopping centers through these public transport is very easy.

The Hotel is located at the big street and where we can find general transportation easily, near the MRT station (Bras Basah or Bugis Jaunction), and also near Bugis Street where we can find souvenir of Singapore

If you're searching for a place to stay in a good location close to eating places and a couple of MRT stations, Victoria Hotel is sufficient for at least one night's stay. Reception is cordial. But you have to walk out the rear exit to get to the elevators. The floor tiles could use a good scrubbing. WiFi is OK. A reasonable choice if you're on a budget or simply want a convenient place for one night's rest.

The pictures of the rooms were obviously photo shopped and we got a much smaller room than we wanted. This place is probably a 2 star hotel at best. Too expensive for the quality. Staff were nice but since we arrived late at night we couldn't change hotels...or we would have. We left first thing in the morning even though we had reservations for another night. Oh and the bathroom door locked my daughter in so we needed the maintenance man to come with his tools to let her out. Not a good experience. Will definitely never go back there.

The hotel is very conveniently situated for sightseeing around Singapore. The free use of the Internet was very useful for booking our airline tickets and seats. best of all was the friendly and helpful staff. The room was quite small but quite big enough for a short stay.

This is my third stay at Victoria Hotel in 2 years and I have three more reservations booked for later in the year.. Well localed value for money hotel with internet available 24 hours a day next to the 24 hour manned front desk. Rooms are not oversized as are the newer hotels. But for location and value for money I challenge anyone to find a better located and priced property. One block behind Raffle's Hotel. Easy walking distace to Chinatown and Singapore River front.. Take train from the airport - well signed to locate and purchase a ticket for Sin$2.70 to Bugis station and the walk along Victoria St to the Victoria Hotel is around 4/500m. You get a refund of $1 after the coupon is returned for refund at the end of the trip. If you want an iron ask the front desk. I have dined on the waterfront on many occasions over several years and it is a pleasant experience. However, be aware of the restaurant sprooks outside each establishment; they affer a free drink. I dined there on 17 Feb 11 on the provision standard drinks would be free and when the bill came they had been 'charged'. I refused to pay and would only leave after a new account had been presented. If you are offered free drinks MAKE SURE it is understood at the outset. One/two blocks back from the riverfront quays/wharfs food and beverage prices are less....but not the ambiance of couse.

Met my expectation. Staff is helpful. Location is convinient and near MRT stations. Family Room is adequate but Double room a bit small with no proper place or stool for the bags. Overall, its fine.

hotel is located very closed to busy centres. sim lim square is only 10 min walk buggies street is only 7 min walk reception personnel is very friendly and helpfull breakfast is not included but it is make easy to choose any other breakfast sourses (cafe or 7/11 market outside).

Good location, convenient because near MRT station and easily to get some local food here.

The location of this hotel is very good. I can reach the parts of this city in an easy way. The bus stop, MRT station, are very close. Even I can find the nearest public service : mart, foodcourts, restaurants, beauty salon, money changer , churches, etc. from this hotel.

Enjoyed my stay at Victoria Hotel. Very professional and courteous staffs. Clean and average size room, there was a LCD tv and in-room safe. I would come back to this hotel again, as location is great. 3 MRT stations nearby,shopping centres and food courts all around very convenient.

The hotel is well situated. Rooms were good with reasonable facilities. Cheap but good eating place on the ground floor.

Location : Excellent. Very close to food and shopping outlets. Facilities : Everything is fine except that the air-con in room 510 leaks water. Staff : Very friendly and helpful in giving advice and directions.

I have no extraordinary comment. The hotel is good, the location is excellent.
