Traders Hotel Penang is excellent on all counts. Great comfort and excellent staff. Although the hotel ambience is 1980's style, the room and all public areas are in excellent condition. The location(at Komtar) is just okay, but it doesn't matter in Penang because the Georgetown area is very small and transportation is easily available.

I stayed in this hotel for one night only but it was good and the hotel staffs are very friendly....hotel facilities were good ...a small suggestion on pillows some of them would like to sleep on soft pillows and some of them on hard pillows yours hotel pillows are very soft I would like to sleep on hard pillows.... so you can look into it...and yourTV there isn't much programme may be you can add in CD player or can have some movies that can be charge on client request anyway I like traders hotel whenever I vist Muar with my family I use to stay in Traders Hotel in Muar

This hotel is value for money with clean and comfortable room. The location of the hotel is centrally located besides Komtar that enable one to access to other parts of the island easily.

The sound proof of the hotel is very poor, we could hear clearly water flowing in the bathrm upstairs fr our bed( not toilet) and our next door guest's coughing whole day on the second day.

My first stay at the Trader and I must say that I am happy with the customer service of you hotel. The front office staff are all very courteous and polite with smile on their faces. I do not have to tell them but from my gesture they know that I need a taxi and immediately offer help to get one for me. As a Muslim, I was very impressed when I saw a "sejadah" in my room and a "gayong" in the bathroom. This to me is truly an excellent customer service. Thank you for being sincere and caring.

It's well worth booking a club room, and the club lounge has fantastic views over the city I think it was the most comfortable hotel bed i have ever slept in, everything about the room was first class

Very satisfied with the service provided and the location is good. The only thing is that may be breakfast can provide with more variety for guests. There is no lift directly link from car park to hotel lobby! Overall are satified. Coziness and the bed is very comfort.

I feel funny I was not given a breakfast voucher. You shouldn't charged me for the internet service. Le Meridien provide free internet services to all their customers.
