The beach offers good relaxation tome with many small shops selling crafts and souvenirs, restaurants and café's alongside the beach. Take a walk down the famous beaches boardwalk, just walking distance from the hotels area. Apart from that, since transportation is easy to get due to the nearby major highways, you can travel to other parts of the city easily and come back just in time for dinner. Or, if you prefer to tour nearby, you can visit the East York Town Centre, a cosy small local shopping mall with about a hundred shops selling wide variety of products. East York – East York is largely comprises of middle income mixed development residential areas with almost half of its residents are not Canadian at birth. A former municipality within the city, East York was a semi-autonomous borough within the overall municipality of Metropolitan Toronto before East York, North York, York, Scarborough, Etobicoke and Toronto were amalgamated into the new "megacity" of Toronto in 1998. Before the amalgamation, East York was Canada's only borough.

The mixed composition of varied has resulted in opening of numerous shops and services catering to the need of the residents and made the area quite lively especially for its variety of food. Apart from its many facets of nationalities, East York is quite near to the beach via arbour Front. Although its not the closest but the area has become a favourite stop for Lake Ontario beach goers. From here, it's easy to access the famous Lake Ontario boardwalk that stretches three kilometres alongside the beach. You can find many small shops and cafes along the way selling variety of products and souvenirs.
