Located along the sloping hills of the Gulf of Aqaba just about 250 meters from the hotel's own private beach, the Tiran Island Hotel Sharm El Sheikh is situated in the most exclusive area of the resort located 15 km south to Namaba Bay, the beach is composed of sand leading to a coral reef that is easily accessible from purposely built pontoons.

Tiran Island is located at the entrance of the Straits of Tiran which are more than 1,800 metres deep. The Island is about six kilometres off the eastern coast of the peninsula and surrounded by coral reefs. These coral reefs are formed of four groups: Gordon, Jackson, Thomas and Woodhouse. Many shipwrecks can be found in the area of Tiran due to the strong winds and currents in the Gulf of Aqaba. The intriguing marine life makes Tiran and its surroundings the ideal destination for boat trips, diving and snorkelling.
