the staff were courteous and friendly. Being ... on a business trip the seminar was held at the tulip so this was ideal.
Recommendation:  By Mr.George Stout  South Africa My booking by internet did not appear on the hotel's guest list. I had a reservation number which i presented along with the printout indicating my booking.
the hotel receptionist, a male, had no record of this. He took a while to work out ... what to do. the hotel was fully booked, but as i checked in at 5. 30 pm and had to rush to an important dinner i was unable to return untill 11. 00pm by which time a room had been found.
unfortunately i was unable to shower and change clothes, before the dinner with my boss!
i suggest that the reception staff exercise a little more imagination when confronted with an unforeseen.
the room was fine, all well and i left at 6. 00am for the airport.
i live in abu dhabi and frequently fly from dubai airport. I would use the hotel again, putting the lack of booking data down to a one-off clich.
