Great Hotel

We stayed in The Tower for only one night n a superior deluxe room. The Room was lovely, clean and very large with a 32" flat screen television. The Hotel is in a great location. Our room looked straight onto Tower Bridge the view was fantastic and we felt the Hotel was good value for money. But please not VAT is added to the final room booking price, so its about £15 more than what you think your paying.

Hotel has a good location but seems to be in need of investment. Someone should be going around the rooms to check everything works. They should actually try living in their rooms for a day and see what is wrong.

We had a toilet paper holder in our room on the 5th floor that was postioned horizontally (which meant the roll easily feell off) when it should have been position vertically. The hotel management / cleaning staff etc. should have picked up on this.

Further we did not have any proper tea/coffee cups. We had glass cups with metal handles attached to their base. When one tipped the glasses over a sink to empty out its contents the glass cup part fell out of the metal handle. We were lucky to avoid smashing them. All rather cheap.

The door to our room was poorly fitting.

Would rather have a few large pillows than all the small ones.
