Have heard some good and bad comments about this hotel, so wanted to experience it myself. Check in and was looking for the usual check in counter but had 5 check in/out desk instead with only 3 staff managing it. So had to wait but not long at non peak To impove - indicate signage and fill up the other desks as well. Had to wait for my other room for 2hours after checking in at 12.00pm. My 3 year old daughter like the hotel and the 4 pools provided, family also like the landscape and hugh open space. Good for family picnic under to coconut tree. Beach was so so but the water was clean and clear for PD No complaints with the room size and room amenities but we could hear the house keeping trolleys pass by. My package proce did not included Meals, so could not comment. My whole trip was good and i would recommend others for a quite get away.

This hotel is good for family with children. Clean beach. Service was nothing to shout abt. Need to call few times to ask for extra towels and newspaper in the morning. Breakfast spread was good. Rooms are quite new, renovated last year.

1. I was impress the way the registration was done with less hassle. ( 2.There wasn't any waiting time for check-in & check-out) As both Check-in & out was very simple,smooth & fast. 2. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. 3. Hotel with a very good environment and landscaping. (pool, beach & room) 4. This is my first visit to this hotel with my family and each and every one of us enjoy our stay. 5. Price is little high but with promotion rate should be able to visit again. 6.I have shared my experience with all my family and friends that THISTLE is the best hotel to stay in Port Dickson as its worth the money we pay. cest un bel hotel où malheureusement tout est cher et payant!cest un hotel qui est eloigné du centre ville et puis en meme temps il n'ya rien a faire au centre ville, il ya un pauvre pizza hut et un kfc, 3 ou 4 magasins!à part ça il n'ya rien a faire! il n'ya pas d'animation dans l'hotel!on s'est trop ennuyer!nous sommes partis en couple.cet hotel est recommandé pour les familles ou pour le business!

To whom it may concern, I find that the hotel is very comfortable. There is just one thing that I feel will really help guess while they made their booking on line. If there is time arrived on the booking list, I belive that you should advise us wheater we are allowed to check in early or not. We waited for 2hours to get to our room and we find out that there is no breakfast given. Anyway thank you for making our visit feel comfortable.

slow reaction to guest complains due to incessant noise from children attending a church retreat. the kids were banging the walls & jumping around in the rooms till we hours of morning. Staff reaction were it;s not staff's fault. But the attempts to make other guests stay more comfortable was lacking. placement of laundry cable in the shower room is not practical to dry clothes as it gets wet everytime the shower is used.

Far from everywhere. Hotel taxies were everytime expensive. I wish the hotel to make every effort in the local transport. Room and facilities are fine and acceptable excepting bath. Warm, not hot, shower was available after reqesting again and again.

There were too many flies in the cafe. Face washer and toilet paper need to be adequately provided without request. (The requested was addressed promptly).

The hotel is quite nice although pricy for the region. Rooms are spacious and clean.

1. Complained to reception of muddy water from tap. She agreed to send hot water to my room. It takes 45 minutes for the room service to deliver a jug of hot water to my room, and only after 3 repeated calls to the reception to ask for the hot water. The floor does not have any sound proof effect. We can hear people movement on the unit upstairs. The water from the tap is very muddy and not properly filtered.

The staff are friendly and helpful. A bit old for the furnitures and fixings.

the sand on the beach is a bit rough. :( the room was very good, but the roof has rain water coming in on the last night of our stay.

Basically i don't really use any of the facilities in the hotel therefore not able to rate or determine the number of the facility you have in the hotel. An overall impression of mine towards this hotel is good and comfy. Air condition is not cool enough on the first day of stay but it is back to normal cool on the end of second day. I personally feel that the air condition must have periodic check to ensure it's consistent coolness at all times.

Reception staff attitude is cold, not very friendly and not welcoming. Noisy from next room and from hall way. Room accoustic is not good.

The best part is the swimming pool. It is so big even if the hotel is full it is not that crowded. Nil bath tub.

not much facilities aircon not working, phone not working and bathroom sink choke. Overall experience- not good

I dont see the reason that the room did not come with breakfast. Even 2 star hotel provide breakfast. The mini bar was empty - no reason was given for this. The view was suppose to be of a garden but all i saw was some renovation work!

will go again

We felt the swimming pool was dirty. Better maintenance of the bathrooms is required especially in the rooms.
