The first thing that caught my attention is the bar area where there are arm chairs and its setting which reminds me about the time when I was in England. And yes... the welcome drink is excellent! It really helps to freshen us up after such "exciting" road trip coming from Tapah.

The second best experience is the lounge where there is this huge fire place. The smell of burning logs its just so stimulating ... it just bring back memories.

Even with such thoughful set-up to preserve its originality, the drinks available in the bar is very disappointing. Most of the drinks like Johnny Walker, Glenfiddich are mainly 12 years old. It would be great if there are some 15 years old range of whiskey. For me personally, having to have a 15 year old Glenfiddich completes my "prefect" leisure holiday in The Lakehouse.

Another area which I would like to point out are the staff services. Generally, most are very pleasent and experience in giving excellent services but I would suggest that more training should be giving to the younger staff... such as making sure that our bags should follow where we will be staying rather then to another guest room. Its quite embarrassing that such mistake could happen when the hotel does not have like over 100 guest staying in The Lakehouse.

My Stay in this hotel meets my expectation

Except they need a TV & Fridge in the room as it was incovinent to wear pajamas to see TV in the lounge. Did not manage to see any TV or news on TV at all. My room was no doubt facing the beautiful Lake but it was also facing the road and it was very noisy at night.

The staff was very helpful & polite but the management must provide cologn for all the staff in the restaurant & service staff with strong BO. Which is a big disavatage for visitors staying at the hotel is suppose to be very cosy.

Breakfast and tea are pretty good. The bar is nice too. The general enviornment is cozy. The room is very comfortable. However, the bath curtain is a bit too long and I had almost fell down when stepping on it accidentally during shower.
