I frequent The Sebel for coffee, lunch or dinner, as it is very close to my work premises. The staff have always given exceptional service and this is why we chose to stay there for our work awards night. However on returning to the Sebel after receiving some awards including 2 bottles of wine, i was approached by a burley, abrupt young man whom stepped out from behind the desk and asked what room my husband and i were from, then proceeded to advise us that this was a hotel and we were to remember this and not disturb any other guests. When we walked thru the door there was a band playing and we were talking above it, we were not intoxicated or anything like that, had just enjoyed a nice dinner and nite out for the first time in 3 years. the comments this young man made certainly put a dampener on the evening. Otherwise the premises is beautiful.
