This Hotel is overpriced. Before we stayed in a much better hotel in Sydney for 30% less. Small room. Window opens to a dark patio. The bathroom is not very good.

No wonder this hotel was cheaper than the rest, we didn't really expect too much, but you can find better backpackers than this hotel. They only give you 2 towels at the first time, you have to ask them separately for a towel for the floor, not mentioning the face towel.

Buliding work going on next door which started at 6am in morning wasn't told this at check in. Walls vibrating!! It needed a good vacuum underneath the bed and bedside tables.

During the day there was construction noises, we were warned and was Ok. However, at night, outdoor bar next door remained open all night and was extremely loud. Full night sleep was immpossible the whole time we were there. Needed repairs, couch torn, curtains torn.

friendly service ideal for my requirements

Hotel is in a nice location at king cross and that is the only good part about it. Room Size was big and the view was overlooking the street which was good.

The service was terrible, when I expressed displeasure with the conditions of the rooms and wanted to check out early, the hotel manager would not come to see the room or offer any money back, instead he was quite rude and demanded payment for an additional night as well. The room was very dirty and dusty. I wouldn't touch the lamps because they were so filthy. There was a lot of noise from construction starting very early.

The hotel manager was very helpful, kind and all around a great person. He did an excellent job helping me though out my trip, I believe his name was Mark. Please clean the comforter more often.

so far so good the air-con is too dirty and noisy, even we talked to the hotel, they didnt clean for us. If the window can open is better

Good value for cost of accomodation

need bath mat, and curtain or glass for shower as water alway spill out.

As I previously stated we checked out after one night and for $35/night more we had a pool, spa, 3restraurants, exercise room, and a bathtub in our new hotel. The room we stayed in was "filthy" if I had had a pail and cleaner I would have scrubbed down the walls. THere were cobwebs in the corners and I questioned the cleanliness of the sheets.

No Breakfast facilities A little basic but comfortable.

Service: Except for the last day & person we talked to then, the reception staff was not very informative and helpful with transportation recommendations and other sight-seeing recommendations. Carpet in room did not looked as if had been vacuumed in a while.

Very noisy air- conditioning.

very quaint, very good location (within 2 minute walk to kings cross station) well kept, air conditioned.

Well located base for the day trips. We were given a "smoking" room without asking if we want to have one.

Try anything else. Nothing positive to say. Sheets were not changed during my 5 day stay. Terrible.
