If you go into the hotel's actual web site there is a piece about them and their adopted Balinese children. The hotel is set away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the main road down a short driveway but it has all the shops restaurants and beach within easy walking distance. The cottages and one storey buildings are set around a figure eight pool with sun beds at both ends. There is massage and beauty centre, a computer with internet access at 21,000 rupee per hour and communmial television area. We had the Tamukami suite which had the biggest bed I have ever seen. There was a seating area with a leather sofa and chairs, huge mahogany wardrobes, large tv and dvd player. There was also a huge bathroom with a bath and over head shower. The towels were also of a nice soft quality and more than ample complimentary toileteries. (Not that important but am mentioning to highlight the generousity of the hotel.) There is a beautiful restaurant which is very romantic at night. Again with lovely mahogany furniture and bone chine plates. It is also open to the public and the owner greats all diners with a flower for their hair and a complimentary cocktail. There is an excellent al a carte menu which is of average price but they also do set three and four course menues for 70,000 and 80,000 rupees. There was also live music on the Sunday night. We ate there every night except for one when we went on an evening dinner cruise. (if you do this choose the Aristocrat one as it is very good also 20% discount with Sinapore boarding pass) Breakfast was included and there was a choice of Continental or American cooked or uncooked. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our camcorder and the owner arranged for somebody to take us to Denpassar to see if we could get it mended we expected to pay for this but were charged nothing. Only slight problem is there are quite a few steps up and down to the reception area if you have problems with your legs like I do but there is an alternative flat path way which passes by the lounge and restaurant area. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anybody that likes good service, nice surroundings and comfort and all this for a very reasonable price. There is also a conference/ function room so ideal for business use too. We will definately go back here
