Not much to do in Kuantan except eat, sleep and relax so it suited us perfectly. The food was great and service helpful. The location of the hotel is good, not too close or too far from the centre of Kuantan.

So one does not have to indulge with town traffic and chaos. Very close to the beach where one can relax at anytime by it. The room was clean and all functioned well. The room service was fast to respond. If one is placing a booking via internet, the check-in counter is different though - in a room behind the normal reception counter. Check out where your breakfast will be as well cause it may be at different venue. I am not fussy about food so what were served was sufficient to get me going till lunchtime. Many eating places around - mostly Malay food (ikan bakar places) and few Chinese restaurants. 24 hrs convenience shop and petrol station are nearby.

Staff were great, food good, but they was not many places around the hotel to eat that were of good quality. The beach was fine and clean and the sea was clear and warm, all in all a good holiday 3 nights was enough. Also there was plenty to do for the kids.

The checking was prompt and the staff was courteous and helpful. The only drawback is the breakfast service which we have to wait for the staff to replenish the food. Overall, I would recommand family staying in this resort which is quite near to the city.

The directions of the hotel website are NOT clear. In the lobby, they give out a clear map, but it's too late by then! Otherwise, quite a comfortable hotel with friendly staff in a good location - if you have a car.
