* The bathroom needs serious scrubbing. There are molds on the wall tiles. * The sink pipe is clogged.The water did not flow easily from the sink basin. * The front office staff handled check in and check out transactions promptly. No fuss. Well done. * The Garden Terrace staff need training in communication and public speaking. Some of them did not speak well, although their appearance is generally good. * The resort is quite far from the city centre, which is alright for vacationers who seek a quiet retreat. * I appreciate the fact that each room is equipped with an ironing board & iron. I didnt have to request them from Housekeeping. * Since each room has a copy of the Bible, could the hotel include a copy of the Quran too?

The service staff is very kind as she (Deisha, I think) went personally to check if my room was ready (early check in). Overall good location (could be nearer to town).

Had a wonderful stay at the Swiss Garden Resort & Spa Kuantan. The ambience of the hotel was very nice. Hotel Staff and the service were excellent. Room was cozy and clean and the food was good. My family and i would love to return again for our next holiday. Anyway, i have recommended my friend, who will be checking this friday. Robert Roch.

This is our 2nd visit to the hotel after 6~7 years to 1st visit. Hotel had a good renovation, especially the lobby and pool side restaurant as well. To my little surprise, staff are quite friendly, being very helpful either the front desk, bell boy and others. It took me not more than 15 minutes to proceed checking in, I still remember I spent around half an hour to queue upon our 1st visit, and they seemed like kind of losing patience and forgetting how to smile because of the long queue. The great surprise I had this time is I booked Deluxe Garden View to be checking in on Friday, we were given "sea facing" at the highest floor. Just right to the central. I felt lucky though,the view was nice and enjoyable. Thank you to Swiss Garden Kuantan which made our trip so enjoyable. Also,special thanks to Holidaycity.com, I will definately use your website again for my next hotel searching eirther on leisure or business.

We went for a relaxing pool, beachside holiday and it was perfect for that. Not much to do in Kuantan except eat, sleep and relax so it suited us perfectly.

The food was great and service helpful. The location of the hotel is good, not too close or too far from the centre of Kuantan.

The hotel is at a good "suburb" location of Kuantan. So one does not have to indulge with town traffic and chaos. Very close to the beach where one can relax at anytime by it.

The room was clean and all functioned well. The room service was fast to respond.

If one is placing a booking via internet, the check-in counter is different though - in a room behind the normal reception counter. Check out where your breakfast will be as well cause it may be at different venue. I am not fussy about food so what were served was sufficient to get me going till lunchtime.

Many eating places around - mostly Malay food (ikan bakar places) and few Chinese restaurants. 24 hrs convenience shop and petrol station are nearby.

Hotel rooms that we stayed in were refurbished and very clean they were the seafacing deluxe rooms. Staff were great, food good, but they was not many places around the hotel to eat that were of good quality. The beach was fine and clean and the sea was clear and warm, all in all a good holiday 3 nights was enough. Also there was plenty to do for the kids.

My family stayed in renovated room which was clean and comfortable. The checking was prompt and the staff was courteous and helpful.
The only drawback is the breakfast service which we have to wait for the staff to replenish the food.
Overall, I would recommand family staying in this resort which is quite near to the city.

The only problem was findng the hotel! The directions of the hotel website are NOT clear. In the lobby, they give out a clear map, but it's too late by then!
Otherwise, quite a comfortable hotel with friendly staff in a good location - if you have a car.

The hotel is basically very good. But for the business man not having internet available in the room is very inconvenient. If there was a hotel close with internet, I would definitely move there. This hotel finally put wifi in the lobby and restaurant so it is a move in the correct direction. The hotel is convenient to our work so that is the real reason we stay there. There has been 2 to 8 people there for the last 2 months and we have 1 to 2 months before the project is complete.

I only stayed for two nights. All was ok except the food service for dinner was very slow, so slow that for one night I went down the road to another hotel for dinner. Beach location is good, but watch out for the jell fish; one French man was seriously stung on the ankle. Perhaps a warning to tourists would be useful. Staff were courtious and helpful. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend this hotel.

Initially the room given to us was not to our expectation as on the 2nd level it had little sea view, --only pool view.Upon feedback we were then put on the 4th floor #4209 which commanded a better view of the sea.

Wonderful resort... too bad the beach was not impressive, Even at high tide, still looked like low tide. The beach a little further south at Tg Cempedak was far better. We got a pool view room which I happily learnt was newly renovated. A thoughtful inclusion was a rail for hanging wet swimsuits out on the balcony - wish all hotels would be so clever to install such!

Dangerius for public, especially hotel guest with children to use the circular driveaway ramp to accesss to hotel foyer / main entrance lobby after parking their car at ground level. At the moment , the access staircase were located at isolated area which sometimes miss by new arrival guest. Perhaps make a prominet staicase which can be easily seen at carpark level or put up additional signages.

the floor was dusty on check-in. Was better the next day.

For so many times that I stayed in this hotel, the food has not improve. I ordered a French Onion soup and was tasteless. Luckily the waiter was willing to exchange it to a mushroom soup for me without extra charges. I was given a smoking room with smell (which I agreed to take) and when asked housekeeping to spray it, they gave me the can and asked me to spray it myself.

Children's wading /swimming pool was dirty and when asked why it was not cleaned the staff replied that they had only time to clean one and opted to do only the adult pool.The front desk staff are well trained but the others can improve. Plumbing was poor in the rooms , one had a blocked WC and the other sink was not drainng well.Airconditioning also not cold enough ,took forever to cool.

Lobby recently renovated. All staffs are very keen to serve. From porters to room service. Definitely a well worth destination to relax. Sea facing rooms have been recently renovated. What more needs to be said.

Good location and ambience. Rooms decor was new type and good taste.

Hotel is surronded by clean & excellent beaches. Received a free upgrade to studio room.Thanks a lot
