The front counter staff were courteous, helpful, people oriented, nice to talk to and very informative. The hotel was in a very convenient location. It offerred a continental breakfast that we enjoyed before departing. We would recommend the Super 8 to any of our friends and family.

the hotel is old and fixtures are stained, paint is needed, but the bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

Bed was Good, Pillows were Pathetic, Need more choice, Pillows make the stay. Had three chintzy pillows. Sheets did not stay on the bed. They are using flat queen or Double for the bottom sheet so when you get into the bed, the sheets are all loose.We had a king size bed. By morning we were almost strangled in loose sheets. Coffee is PATHETIC, Small things like that make all the difference in an enjoyable hotel stay, irregardless of the reason for the stay. otherwise everything else was up to snuff, I would never stay again however for those reasons. This motel was very conveniently located. The breakfast room was well equipped, the food good. Having the breakfast room is a wonderful bonus to save time and money while travelling. We found the staff to be cheerfull and courteous.

My family was travelling through Calgary on relocation to the West Coast. Although we had identified that they were travelling with our dog we did not mention that we also had a small bird in a cage as we did not think it would be an issue. Staff would not allow the bird in the room so my family had to look elsewhere for accommodation. The staff did cancel the reservation without charge so it was not all bad. The common area of the hotel had a strong odor of tobacco smoke which was another reason that my family was not overly upset that they had to go elsewhere.
