They lost my online payment details, so I ended up paying cash on check-in and then they gave me a refund when I checked out.
The 2 magnetic keycards did not work and so I had to get them replaced.
But I was impressed, once I got into my room with the size, cleanliness and amenities.
The staff were also great and friendly and I enjoyed the food from room service.
My stay overall, even with the hicups was good, so I would have no hesitation in recommending 'The Legend Hotel Kuala Lumper'.

Hotel seems to be little bit old, so I've expected more from a 5 star hotel, but on the end I was satisfied, mostly because of very good & helpful staff & service

We stayed at 20th floor room 2016. Its at the end of the corridor although we asked for room near elevator. We were quite put off. But the chamber maid made our stay very pleasant. She really took care of us old folks.
The chinese lady took pride in her job clean the room and kept it spick and span. Every time we came back after from shopping or visit from places of interest our room was done.
Food served at the Museum was good but the package on promotion was very rigid. As my wife like the tim-sum I want to but the whole package of RM $48.00++. for her but was told that we need to by 2 shares of the promotion. Eventually my wife had to content with a la carte menu. It was not a dissapointment as the prawns with salted egg yolk was very delicious.
The waiter Georgie at the restaurant waited on us. He was really a pleasant.

We would recommend our freinds to your hotel.

I stayed at Legend 3 times along with my family and every time we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent value. Good people, good food and good location at a very good price.

This hotel was really good.. and if you are there on your leisure trip, this place will be very suitable for you with all the tourist spots near by and well connected with all kind of local trains. The over all experiance with the staffs was good. The food served was also good and with enough varities. I recommend you and HOLIDAYCITY is the only one site which i cud find with the best deal. The hotel stay was pleasant enough. The hotel housekeeping was okay and maintenance was quick to respond. The staff at reception was a bit slow but pleasant and friendly enough. Conceirge service and bell boys were friendly and knowledgable and helpful. The equipments such as hair dryer and air-conditioning may need regular inspection as during my stay I had to move rooms due to faulty air-con and then in the other room the hair dryer did not work. But the staff were quick enough to find a portable dryer for use. The breakfast was an extra charge but was good as the hotel restaurant had a wide selection.
The hotel location is good since it is near the train station and LRT station which made it convenient to travel around Kuala Lumpur.
Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel for a few nights if you are willing to spend extra for convenient location.

The main hall of the hotel was nicely decorated. The food from the cafe was fine as well. However, the room really need to be maintained, as the kitchenette piping was not working (no water supply) and when guests tried to use the pipe, it created a very annoying sound. I was awaken by the iritating noise at middle of the night because the guest at the top floor was using the pipe. The room was small, especially if a family would like to check-in with 2 children (which is FOC for those under 12). The furniture looked run-down, and the table lamp was not working (and nobody checked for the functionality before a guest check-in the hotel?) There was no internet connection from the room and the business centre does not seem to be user friendly. The check-in process can be improved to be more time saving to avoid long queue.

In my opinion, the TV should not be hanged on the ceiling as it makes it difficult to watch since I need to look up. In the end, it may cause certain neckache. This is the first hotel I stayed before with such TV arrangement.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, was very pleased with it and would stay there again. The staff were all friendly, the rooms were lovely and comfortable and it was handy to the shopping mall downstair, taxis and train stations. The breakfast choice was good, would have liked more fruit selection but that is nothing major.... I was happy with my stay there and would recommend it to friends and family, the special I got on the website made it very good value!

on arrival found only two staff are avaliable and they could not handel the long Q , the rooms cleaning was very bad ( the carpet was full of spots) and there were no other rooms avaliable, the concerge were very helpfull.
on departure found the reserved mine van very small to take 8 passinger and 8 bags while during reservationl all inforamation was given to the hotel.
breakfast foutcher was not geven on arrival and every day we have to come to the front desk to collect the foutchers wich take long time.

We requested non-smoking triple room with 03 singles bed but was told that room assigned was a kingsize bed with extrabed. We managed to demand for 03 singles bed cos

Near LRT so easy to get into town. Location being away from city centre make it easy to get a taxi to areas on the fringe of city center No mini bar and a wardrobe light where safe is located is not working.Cleaner forgot to leave a set of towels after cleaning room

Needs more neccessities to be provided in the room. Very huge bathroom which is a bonus.

Smelt of cigarette smoke
