The staff was kind and helpful. My impressions might be misleading as I paid for a Superior apartment but the apartment I actually got was of higher quality. It was a comfortable flat with livig room, big bedroom, 2 televisions, Hi-fi, fridge etc. There was a beautiful view of the park and the skyscrapers of the Golden Triangle. Some rooms (as I heard from my colleagues) were a bit noisy because of a construction. Sometimes the long song of the imam from the nearby mosque was disturbant at night but it was an exotic and authentic experience so I did not mind it at all. I was really satisfied with the apartment.

The suites however are not up to the standard I would require coming from Europe. The newly renovated rooms are loveley though. The original suites offered to us were not up to the standard I expected. However the Hotel assistant manager moved us to more suitable rooms when I complained

Shower time was marred by slow drainage of water from the bath-tub in one of the rooms. Housekeeping personnel were unable to solve the probem. However, the rooms, and in particular the living room, were fairly spacious.

Also had a one bedroom suite in the same part of the hotel which had been refurbished/modernised and it was exceptional. When all hotel has been modernised it will be excellent.
