The two rooms were supposed to have been superior doubles. They were very small compared to other hotels we've stayed in and were barely adequate

Staff were helpful; marvelous location, beds very comfortable First room was small, shower did not work, toilet did not flush easily.Second room larger, bathroom facilities much better.

Excellent location. but the hotel could do with a bit of a revamp. paint chipped, carpets dirty and overall feeling of dingy!! I had asked for a double room and got a twin, the receptionist upgraded me to a club room but it was still a twin. the room was fine but the hallways and other areas away from the reception / bar area are dingy looking and not at all appealing.

Straight, OK standard but with an unrivalled combination of location and price. Very quiet, as I always ask for a room facing the interior, not the streets.

There was no bar service after 2pm which we found a bit disapointing. we also had problems booking in and had to wait until 6.30 to book in to our rooms.

Service was great, they let us check in at 8am after along flight from Canada instead of waiting until that afternoon. They were also very helpful at the conciegere desk whenever we had questions. We were in Britain for thee weeks so we tried to find economic hotels. I thought it was great value for the price and a fantastic location.

I feel that this hotel is no longer interested in customer problems. Hence the duvet. Duvet on bed in the middle of Summer. Complained but got nowhere, had to remove cotton cover from duvet to use as a sheet. Temperatures in the high 20's.

hotel did not know of breakfast offer at GBP7 as per your confirmation we were quoted GBP13..95 and had to show printed confirmation

We were also very unhappy about part og the recaption staff, who were unhelpful and not very nice. We foudn that there was several smaller things that did not work, a couplt of light bulbes were out, the remote control to the tv did not work, and the air in the room was not good and windowns could only be opened slightley.

Rooms are a bit small but adequate.

bed was small and covers were very old with patches sown on. Felt claustrophobic pushed up against the wall.

Very good location. The breakfast was not something special- and tea and coffee lukewarm and without taste. we had one of the larger rooms. I saw, that some of the rooms were rather small
