the cost of a local call with the hotel phone was too expensive (especially a short term call) very impressed with the cleanliness of the room each day that was carried out by the staff

Hotel is centrally located and whilst facilities are few they are sufficient for the budget traveller and offered good value for money. We received an upgrade to a 3 bedroom suite, it was clean and spacious and whilst the facilities were fine some of the fittings were looking a little bit tired.

Would like leaflets on where supermarket or delivery food places - left on fridge or in room information excellent sized room and great to have DVD player

Lift can be better, if not for the current upgrading work. Very happy, except from slight noise at ight when repairing or upgrading works are carried out nearby.

We had a room next to the elevator and the sound of the elevator was loud, especially at night. It woke us up a few times a night and became an annoyance after awhile. Other than that, the hotel suited our needs.

The hotel was under construction. The room was not modern and tasteful that the photo showes.

Hotel lift made loud noises throughout the evenings, night and early morning.

The hotel is an older building and really could benefit from some renovation. If you are looking for a very basic accomodation and location is your prime concern then this hotel may satisfy. The shower in the bathroom was very dificult to use as you had to step over a tiled wall approx 2ft high.

Internet access from room didn't work & only 1 computer in lobby ocassionally worked. Excellent location & helpful staff. Convenient Mr. Espresso cafe at ground floor (better value for a cooked breakfast than the hotel's continental breakfast).

Staff very helpful and friendly - looked after our luggage for the day, after we had checked-out. Net curtains very dirty, but otherwise good facilities for the price. Very central location is handy for the city centre, but very noisy - the rooms need double glazing, not the earplugs provided.
