The hotel location is very convenient for shopping. The shuttle service to Kowloon airport express was very useful.

The entrance of the hotel was excellent, but the style of the room did not follow up. It was good for the price though. The bed was very hard, and the room a bit too small if we had been two people. The door closing over the minibar was broken and did not want to close after opening it. Regardless of this, I was satisfied with my stay.

A little dissapointed with the staff on the desk, as they were trying to convince me my room had been cancelled when my partner had checked in the day before! Room was good overall.

The staff were friendly and helpful and we would have no hesitation in staying at the Stanford again. We made the booking over the internet mainly due to the location and low cost. We were pleasantly surprised by the 'value for money' of the hotel - including the meals. Although small, the room was most satisfactory.

Just the lack of english I did find a bit of a problem I was happy with this room except for the tea bags. I did try to get english tea instead of herb but no one could help me.

The hotel receptionist staff lacks basic travel knowledge. We told him that we are from S'pore and ask him if we need a visa to visit ShenZhen. He said yes and it would cost about HKD400 per person. We got a shock and were quite doubtful of his words. In the end, we went to double confirm with the relevant tourism board. And they told us that we do not need a visa and there are no charges in order to enter ShenZhen. In the end, we visited ShenZhen and true enough no visa was required. We are quite unhappy with the wrong information that the hotel staff provided us as we wasted about 1-2 hrs going to the tourism board to check. The room is quite small and there is no dressing table in the room.
