The hotel has been updated since my last stay in December 2005 which was a very pleasant surprise.
Everything was wonderful and I am now planning another trip to stay.

It is an easy drive to all main attractions such as Port Arthur, Cadburys Chocolate Factory, Tahune AirWalk, Mount Wellington and historic Richmond, etc.

I would recommend this with qualifications. . . . I was not expecting the block of rooms with no front door behind an empty building. An elevator would have been nice. i found out about the luggage lift the second day.

Small hotel within walking distance of hobart centre. Breakfast available on request (au$9). I only stayed for one night so am not really able to comment on the services. . Nice room with kitchenette.

Receptionist not at all friendly on either check-in or check-out. . Very small rooms (except for the bathroom). Unit needs to be painted with a brighter colour -very bland walls and furnishings, not pleasant surroundings
