Look , the location was great. Nearly every thing else could probably give Basil Fawlty a lesson. I finally worked out what causes insomnia. Try a hard bed, very old flat pillows, freezing cold room with a heater that had no hope of keeping up, and a rude poorly written note left by a hotel staff person in my room. Now i know why i stay living in Australia!!. Not reccomended. Try sleeping in one of the shop alcoves down the road. A whole lot cheaper and probably more comfortable.

we arrived in the evening and had to leave early morning so did not get to see or do much in the hotel. However we had a reasonably good dinner in the hotel.

left valuables in safe had to wait over 1 hour to get them back as reception didnt have keys arrived after 13.30 room had not been made up.when room had been cleaned it was still dirty in bathroom.no garden view.

needs knocking down - suggest you take this off your list - I'd NEVER recommend it to anyone

The bar was closed very early and it was only due to Daniel on the chek-in desk that we were able to obtain a night cap at all. Bit sad and the restaurant closed a lot earlier than we thought it would given that it was a saturday night. The shower leaked terribly and it was quite dangerous. The lack of ventilation in the bathroom was a concern. Some Milo would have been nice. I thought I booked a Queen bed and a double bed - seems I got it wrong. Trouble with internet booking it is not always easy to comprehend all interpretations. Also there was no remote for the television even though it was advertised.
