Lady at reception told us on arrival/check in that the hotel was due for a major refurbishment/overhaul!! i would not recommend saying here until its done! Positive note- hotel was conveinient to get bus for bronze final rugby world cup.

This hotel was adequate for what I needed. The main reason I chose it was for the free airport shuttle as I didn't want to rent a car. The shuttle service was timely and efficient. The only problem with the hotel is that it is some 30 minutes from the city of Auckland which I didn't expect. There is a bus that runs right past the hotel and into the city, so that would have sufficed for my leisure purposes - perhaps not for someone in town on business. As it happens, I booked a hop on/hop off tour of Auckland through the hotel desk that came to pick me up at the hotel in the mornng and dropped me back late that afternoon. I didn't see a pool anywhere which would be a problem for families. There was no restaurant at the hotel although breakfast was offered at a cost. There was a Subway Sandwich Shop within walking distance. The hotel employees were courteous and helpful. The room was clean, as were the hallways and public areas. Laundry was free! The hotel could definitely benefit from some updating, but it was fine for my purposes.

Unfortunately, the sliding door was permanently shut which made it difficult for my pasenger (as she was a smoker) which I thought caused unecesary discomfort

Nice place to stay in and with a restaurant I didn't have to travel to look for somewhere to eat. Shuttles were organised on time and the staff were both informative and friendly. Larger than I had anticipated, had everything for a comfortable stay - only downside was that your Sky channels were incorrect in the hotel brochure as it said there was a music channel but it was in fact the Sport channel.

also have conference facilities, excellent restaurant on site, service was excellent clean, good size

The holiday park was pleasant and clean and met our needs for the short time that we were there. We cannot fault the cleanliness of the self containted cabin, the bed was comfortable but would have preferred a queen sized bed! Also would have preferred insect screens on the windows and sliding door.

I really enjoyed the friendly service from the staff.

There was a problem in the kitchen on the Tuesday night that we were there and an extra meal was charged to our room. This was on a completely different docket number to the one that our meals were on. We were also charged for 2 breakfasts on the Wednesday morning which we did not order. That morning we had a taxi waiting for us at 6.30 am to take us into the City and we certainly could not have eaten at that time in the morning. We were virtually told that we must have had the meals. Eventually after 3 telephone calls to them we were grudgingly told that the money would be refunded to us, but it had to go through their Head Office. At the moment we have heard nothing from them. The room was reasonably comfortable but very shabby as was the rest of the hotel.

the service we received was fantastic. The kitchen staff were great with helping us out with a meal late at night and the service desk was great. Bed was really soft but the room was excellent
