Sivlermine Beach Hotel

Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location and very good value compared to hotels in Central. We visited out of season and the hotel could do with some redecoration, but we really enjoyed our short stay. Lantua island is itself very interesting and convenient for the ferry into Central.

The hotel consists of 2 different buildings. The one we were booked in was in need of renovation. The room was not in excellent condition and the view was not facing the beach. The staff told us that the tariff for the rooms with a view would be more than HK$1000.00 Should we know beforehand that the room was in such (bad) condition we would have booked into one of the rooms in the nearby apartment. It costs only HK$200 (half the price we paid for).

Improvement should be made to the filter of the swimming pool and to the control of mosquitoes. For the Old Wing, the toilet should be renovated.

excellent food especially the buffet dinner, would give it a ***** start rating, the best food we ever had in a hotel. only problem was that the door to the balcony was permanently closed and could not be opened in order to get fresh air in the room.

It likes hotel in Pattaya. Just a few minutes walk, you can go to beach from Silvermine Beach Hotel. Very relax. The hotel room, which we lounged, had a gorgeous seaview.

Only problem with Hotel is their restaurant very expenssive. Also charge for internet, must by a drink. I bought coffee...at $3.00 a pop U.S. that is ridiculous!! Room very clean.
