I was dissapointed in not getting the pool view room I booked. The front desk staff were not all helpful in that regard either. Moreover, as a Shangri La Golden Circle card member I expected to be treated better than that. As a result I doubt if I will stay at this hotel again.

The hotel could enhance the vegetarian spread. A true vegetarian dish would never have sea food in it. I had a tough time ordering vegetable rice that was otherwise strewn with some sea food. For strict vegetarians from India, this becomes difficult. Also no Indian vegetarian food was available after 10 pm and we had to struggle with the menu and the service staff. One request - can you please request hotel Shangri-La to courier my membership card which I seem to have left in the room #1416 or issue a duplicate one which entitles me to a host of benefits? Thanks. I guess I had everything that I wanted in a good functional room for a business traveler.

We were most impressed by the courtesy and efficiency of the staff and their very friendly welcome. We would stay there again. The bathroom could have been cleaner

Value for money for drinkers. Normally there is an obvious layer of sheet between comforter and the 'bedsheet'. This is not so in shangrila.

PLEASE NOTE COMMENTS ABOVE ..BUT BEFORE WE WERE ASSINGNED THE ROOMS THEY WENT THROUGH THE POSSIBILITY OF UPGRADING AT EXTRA COST...AGAIN i WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT IF YOU BOOK A ROOM AND TRAVEL A LONG WAY YOU DON'T WANT THE HASSLE OF STANDING AT RECEPTION... WE BOOKED 3 DELUX KINGSIZE BEDS. AND AFTER CHECKING IN WE WERE GIVEN 2 KINGSIZE BEDDED ROOMS AND ONE DOUBLE TWIN ROOM...AFTER A LONG FLIGHT FROM THE UK WE JUST WANTED A COUPLE OF HOURS TO RELAX...UNFORTUNATLEY WE COULD'NT.... AS THE ABOVE HAD TO BE SORTED...air conditionning not very efficient in one room...
