Overview
Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao is located in Qingdao's business centre and is an ideal base to explore the city's beaches and European cultural heritage. The Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao has a total of 696 guest rooms in both City Wing and Valley Wing. City Wing accommodation is made up of Superior, Deluxe Rooms and Suites. The newly opened Valley Wing adds another 196 guest rooms and 13 serviced apartment. The Valley Wing executive room at 54 sqm is the largest in the city and are all sea-facing.
Two new recently opened restaurants are Cafe Yum, serving international buffet through interactive theatre-like open kitchens, and Da Vinci Restaurant and Lounge offering authentic Italian cuisine prepared by a native Italian chef, accompanied by an extensive selection of old and new world wines. Shang Palace is renowned for its Huaiyang, Cantonese and Shandong cuisine. For entertainment, Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao has Lobby Lounge and Q Bar to unwind.
The Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao's meeting and conference facilities are the most prestigious to cater from small seminar in 11 function rooms to gala events in two ballrooms. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,650 people while the China Hall can host up to 2,000 people. For relaxation, the new Health Club features the best gym equipment, a 25 metre swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
