Asian hotel management great for Australia

We had a upgraded sea view corner room on the top floor. The view was great.
But not as great as the well trained staff in the Asian hospitality style. They are flexible, willing and polite. They are there to 'serve', not treating guests as equals by calling them 'Hon', 'Darl' and 'See Ya later'. What a breath of fresh air.
Our room wasn't ready when we checked in, and were offered complimentary drinks while we waited. Of course we took tapas and the hotel gets some business as well.
In short, we had a great stay. Second time in two years as my partner is one of the sponsors of the Townsville/Cairns Charity Bike Ride and is the compare for the evening event.
We were saying how good the hotel is to the few bikers opted to stay at the Hilton and were disappointed.
