This is a good place if you want a "resort" vacation, but is not conveniently situated if you want to experience the city of KK or Sabah life in general.
Prices are horrific by comparison with what is available outside the resort. Needing a taxi to get anywhere at all is a rip-off as the taxi rates elsewhere in the city are negotiable. Menu prices are 100% or more dearer than what is available locally and often the resot food is not as good.
Staff are efficient but impersonal.

The sea nearby hotel is not clear with some of the rubbish on the surface. Nice bathroom with enough space, if can offer more fruits will be better (every day instead of 1st and last day)

Fire alarm went off 3 times in the middle of the night. There was no fire. I had a poor nights sleep.

The hotel was great and the staff most welcoming. Air conditioning leading to the room was far too cold and unpleasant. Due,I believe, to the excessive coldness of the air conditioning the bed felt damp and was most unpleasant! Apart from that the room was lovely.

The hotel is beautifully designed and always well maintained. The rooms, deco and amenities have always been excellent.

The facilities were good but more indoor activities need to be provided as it rained a lot while we were there! Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 2pm and we had to wait nearly an hour for it. We were travelling from Kota Kinabalu airport Terminal 2 so the location was perfect for us but it is a little way out of town. Great - only imperfection was that the guest comment card in the room had been filled in by the previous guest and not collected & replaced.
