My stay here was excellent - the ambience was fab and it was so quiet compared to the amazing noise and colour of Chinatown below. I loved the decor of this hotel.

Unfortunately on our departure we told the porter that we did not have tickets for our next train journey, but were buying them at the train station (as normal) and he must have told our Tuk Tuk driver as he drove us to some dodgy place to buy tickets - we were not pleased and once we eventually got to the train station he dropped us off on the wrong side of the road. With masses of luggage to carry on a hot sticky day and train tickets still to buy we were not impressed when he dropped us off - we just made our train, but it left a bad impression of Bangkok and the hotel. We were glad to be on the train out of there! Lesson - don't tell the porters too much when they ask you 1000s of questions.

It was really suprised me when my name was tagged on the welcome board inside the hotel. The room was cleaned two - three time a day, make it very comfortable, although the room was relatively small.
