Was very convenient to the ferry which was an excellent way to get around. Outside noises disturbed our daughters when trying to sleep, but otherwise was very nice.

TV arial need fixing

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was ideal for our requirements

Smallest hotel in area, but on a very smart street. Excellent breakfast (cold included in price, hot an extra $6) but dining room at the foot of the stairs and very basic. This turned into a noodle restaurant at night - equally basic but good value. Non smoking room requested and non smoking sign on back of door. However, smell of tobacco quite noticeable the first night, clearing on subsequent days. Didn't mention it to hotel staff. Would have preferred a quilt rather than blankets on the bed. No instructions for split system reverse cycle air conditioner - it didn't seem to work as it should (wouldn't heat above 21C).

Our room was in a back corridor and there were constantly objects (eg a bed) in the nearby corridor, contributing to a poor quality impression. Most (but not all) staff at the desk were helpful. I would rank this as a 2 star hotel - its major advantage is the great location and relative cost. the room was very shabby and in need of refurbishing. Positioning of TV was bad for viewing in bed (and there was nowhere else to comfortably sit, really).

Very nice surrounding area. We were kindly received by the staff of the hotel. Excellent to be able to take a ferry five minutes from the hotel to downtown Sydney (use time table!)Very good access also with buses nearby. Although the room was very small it was very cosy. We called it "compact living"

It's a definite pre that you may use the internet without paying for it. Laundry facilities are good. We booked a twin room with two separate beds. Unfortunately there was no pre-mention about a bunkbed/coughbed in stead of two separate beds. 6 nights on a bunkbed/coughbed is not very comfortable! And we still paid for a twinroom.

Quite a nice boutique hotel, but a bit far from Sydney city. Should provide more variety for Breakfast Size of room a bit small. The elevator failed to funtion when we checked in, and it was not repaired until we checked out.

The price should indeed be lowered ,looking at the condition.With $109, a guest can find a 180 degree better accomodation elsewhere the hotel location is pretty convenient but the hotel condition is not that well. I found that the blanket has a hole on it , showing that it was not ill prepared and attentions should be paid more to those kind of unnoticeable thing.

The only comment I would make is that the breAkfast area needs updating or relocating upstairs perhaps. Initially it was poor, but after requesting a move we were accomodated with graciously with a much better room.
