good breakfast A very nice room at a fair price

Location was slightly out of town. Easy access to ferries, trams, and trains. Staff were friendly, helpful, and very accomodating. There were no external windows in the room(s). There were glass walls facing the middle of the hotel with curtains provided for privacy.

reception was courteous our bed in 301 didn't have a matress. Only two box springs on top of each other. So very hard First night I had shoulder ache so had to sleep in smaller bed

Excellent breakfast. Noisy from other rooms. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Missed no window.

Flexibility early check-in, the hotel staff are friendly and the bus service is close by.

The room we had was a little dark, but it was generally quiet.

I think overall it is good. As I have asked for a triple bedroom, therefore amenities should be provided in three.

Bathroom old and in poor repair with chipped tiles and no fan made it hard to get ready as mirrors would fog up for app. 20 min. No non slip mat in shower/bath made it caused hazard.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Savoy, and will be back! Fantastic value, great rooms.

Staff were extremly friendly and always willing to help although the hotel had very few facilities. Compared to other hotels it is good value for money. There was no windows in the room which made it very dark and the hotel was very noisy, you could hear everything from the room.

by arrive we were given a room that I refused, there were no other rooms available...No problem I'll leave the Hotel...suddenly I could have another one....much better but still not clean the bathroom is very old and mouldy, the carpet in the room very durty

Hotel staff were very helpful and willing to give us a quieter room. Breakfast was generous & had fresh produce. In general, the Savoy Hotel offers good value for money. I am recommending it to friends. We had to change rooms because of early/loud street noise below from 6 am. Workmen were renovating a shop below! After that we were satisfied with the room.

Your Receptionist was extrordinarily helpful with all my questions and requests. The entire staff was friendly and cheerful. This hotel was a pleasant surprise after a long trip!

The staff were helpful and friendly especially in the breakfast cafe, where the staff were very nice. One problem was that the cord on the jug was too short and difficult to use it without it falling over all the time.

Excellent place to stay. Cosy,clean and comfortable.

The staff makes this hotel. They were so helpful and knowledgeable, and not just about Syndey. Continental breakfast is terrific. The standard room is a bit small but everything is spotless and Double Bay is lovely.

We enjoyed our stay although the room itself had faults The roof leaked when it rained. We had trouble with the door lock. The air conditioning unit was full of dust.

Special thanks to KATRINA who was very helpful in showing us how to navigate our way around Sydney. She really took the time to make us feel welcome. We also especially appreciated being able to make us of a the guest 'laundry'. We didnt' mind doing our own, and it was a real bonus to have it available to us for our use! The water pressure was wonderful and LOTS of hot water. That was a nice treat!
