We arrrived in Saskatoon at 11:30 pm. on Sept. 20, 2007. Upon arrival at the Saskatoon Inn with copies of our reservation and comfirmation number, the front desk clerk was unable to locate our reservation. Even after looking at our copies of our reservation and comfirmation number she was only able to offer us a smoking room. We are nonsmookers and refused the room. The clerk never requested help from any of the other two clerk or manager. She simply gave us a card with the names of managers and told us to come see them the next day. No offer was made to locate us another room in another hotel. We were left on our own to get a room at 12:00 am after a flight from BC. The following day we returned to the Saskatoon Inn. The manager located our reservation for Sept . 20, 2007. She appologized, and upgrated our room for our return trip on Sept 23,2007 which was very nice, but didn't change what had happened the night before.
