... maintained enough service to provide meals, electricity throughout the day (but no tv), while still observing the basics of nyepi. i appreciated that, but would not have complained, as i heard some visitors doing at the airport when i left, if the full range of restrictions had been imposed. in fact, the hotel achieved a good balance between respecting the occasion and caring for their guests
