To all the staff at Holiday Inn, Jane and I really did enjoy our stay at Holiday Inn. The total experience from arrival to departure was excellent. We found all the hotel ammenities to be of a high standard and the from reception to room cleanliness we cannot fault the sevice. The room 1701 was just great with its views of the harbour and the stay was completely relaxing. Thanks to all staff. Cheers Craig Gass ( Benjamin )

This hotel is great if you are crossing to Picton as it a 2 minute walk to Bluebridge ferries and to Interislander Shuttle bus and railway station. We also walked to many of the attractions - so it is very well located -
Lovely clean comfortable hotel - the pillow option was great too.
Had great meal in the restuarant and we were able to pay (by card) in our own currency -

The food we had for dinner in the evening was excellent but the breakfast was advertised on your notice board as being on special when I went to enquire about it in the morning but when we went down for breakfast and to pay for it we were initially charged an extra $8.00 per person and we were told the special did not apply.

Staff helpful. Comfortable room. Good presentation and well appointed.
Room could have been a little cleaner. (Generally clean but attention to detail lacking.)

For what I required, this is the best location in Wellington

Although we only stayed one day on route to the South,
we would have been very happy if our stay had been much longer.For us the lacation was perfect.We could find no fault with the hotel ...neither with staff,food or accommodation.We would happily recommend it .

This hotel is in an excellent location and very modern and well appointed. Lovely kitchen facility too within the room. We had a problem parking our camper van as car park too low but the staff were so helpful and looked after the van for us. We had a harbour view room which I can thoroughly recommend.

The Hotel was in an excellent location and rooms were of a high standard.

The only minus point was the bathroom wall was made of glass and once the light was on the toilet was clearly visible from the bedroom.

This hotel is ideally located for visiting the political and commercial centre of Wellington and a short walk along the harbourfront to Te Papa

Would love to have had some herbal teas instead of caffeine drinks.

There were two large double beds in the room with 16 pillows and no place to sit down, other than the desk chair. Also, not much space to put things.

This is new hotel and is going through a "shake-ddown"period. The low score for cleanliness is given for the following reason;- the carpet had not been cleaned prior to our occupancy, nor was it vacuumed for 3 days. A pharmaceutical tablet was left on the carpet by previous visitors, it was left in the same place until we left at the and of our stay

One day this will be a very good hotel. It is not there yet. Our stay was unsatisfactory due to the incomplete nature of the facilities, and systems that failed. Our room was not ready at 5pm, our paper undelivered, advertised parking un available, advertised recreational facilities unavailable.Bar staff not accepting feedback on the quality of a wine. Other staff were very helpful. I am willing to try again but a second experience like this would be the last The room was fine
