Queenstown nearly Autumn stay at RYDGES. Looking over the lake towards the "Remarkables". Only a short and very pleasant lake side walk to "Steamer Wharf" and then beyond into Queenstown. The Hotel was excellent with Staff always at hand. Very rarely did we need them as it was all a low key, hassle free stay. Never had a problem. The room/s were made up daily in excellent fashion and very discretely with full facilities top up. We never did see the room service person but it just happened. There was a "special wedding" arranged while we stayed there and we were adequately informed by management and it had no impact on our stay at all. A credit to the Hotel and staff. Car parking was "free" and never a problem.Food was excellent along with the service. Would we stay at "Rydges Queenstown" again? You bet!

We were not compensated and each time we asked for a possible time that the hot water would be working again we were told that it "should be working soon". We were still charged the full price for our room, but the lack of hot water made the stay less enjoyable, especially for the price that we were paying.

We had specifically asked for NON smoking. Also we asked for a high floor and were not offered the highest floor.
