Very strategic location (within Brisbane city). The reception/service man needs to be more friendlier and the hotel requires a concierge counter. I have stayed 5 days in the hotel but the room service only clean the room on the first 3 days of my stay. Not too sure what happens after that. But I love the cooking and washing area provided in the room. It makes the stay very convenient and homely.

Having a restaurant as part of the hotel would have made our stay much better. The one on ground floor had unpredictable and rather slow service and the food was not that great on our two visits. The recommended restaurant (across the street and a block away was memorably the undisputed worst we encountered in almost 4 weeks on this trip! The Royal Albert staff was very nice and helpful on the few occasions we had minor questions or needs. Almost too roomy! It was great to be able to do laundry before leaving.

Hotel had no restaurant and minimal lounge area in foyer but is in the CBD within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Washing machine and dryer in the room.

There were just a few finer, more detailed points of presentation that had unfortunately been overlooked. For example, rubbish found under the bed.
