Good value for money at first sight is ultimately a let down. Room is tawdry, old. Bathroom is more like a shoe closet. Breakfast is best missed. Reception assistance patchy and little regard for establishing a relationship with customers. Best that can be said is excellent location.

We had chosen this hotel because of location and pictures on internet. Pictures do not match reality. At these high prices, this hotel is a disgrace to Singapore. Next time in Singapore, regardless of price, we'll have to stick to a known hotel chain. Your section "What kind of stay this hotel is good for" should show "None" which would be more appropriate in this case.

Hotel was in a great location with staff very helpful. Room was comfortable with only drawback being a very small ensuite bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to people, with the only proviso being the tiny bathroom.

the hotel was excellent in terms of service, location wise and the environment was good too. love to take the river taxi and the nite scenario was superb!

The staff is helpful and courteous and their customer service is good. I am impress with how the staff is being proactive to reach out for their guests. The downside is the room; small, cramp and in an awkward shape. The room itself is dull, old and urgent need of upgrading/ updating. The upside is its location, close to restaurants and a walking distance to shopping complexes.

Everything are reasonable and good except for the bathroom which is rather small especially for bigger size person. For ladies, ok but for male of larger stature, they may reconsider if they are fussy with bathroom comfort. For business stay, suitable and convenient.

We had a very pleasant 2 nights stay in this hotel which is well placed and adequate for anyone needing a place to sleep. Although all the rooms have a view of the surrounding area try and get a room that overlooks the pool as these give you a feeling of more space. The rooms are quite small even though they offer everything that one would need. I wouldn't recommend this to larger people as the bathroom is tiny. However, there was plenty of hot water, clean bedding etc and the tea maker was very welcome. Breakfast is substantial but make sure you are there on time as the clearing away begins promptly at 10.00am. I would definitely stay here again although I would ask for a fuller pillow.

The very main reason we stayed in Robertson Quay Hotel was its best location. Small walk to the Bus Stops, a few minutes away from MRT station,Central. Also, there's Clarke Quay, which we love very much...!! We (My Hubby & I) are the food lovers, so we do enjoy to taste various foods that Clarke Quay offered..!!

We were particularly impressed by the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff. A particular example, on the last day we needed a taxi to take us to the airport during the evening rush hour and we were going to be charged double the normal cost. A member of the reception staff went down the road and found us a taxi that would charge the normal rate.

We did find the hotel expensive for the size and amenities, compared with other countries. The provision of air conditioning and a fridge were essential. The room was rather small and curtains and surfaces were gruby. A wider variety of food at breakfast (e.g more fruit, yogurt) would have been welcome.

This hotel was better value than the one we stayed in on our return in January.

My wife and myself were visiting Singapore for our honeymoon, when we stayed at Roberson Quay for 4 nights.

The location and the view was excellent. The staff was very helpful and prompt while helping us.

However, the room size is definitely not worth the money we were paying. We paid them 153SGD per night for an exceedingly small room. There was just enough space to accomodate our luggage and almost no room to move around.

Further, the breakfast was woefully inadequate in terms of variety of food as well as taste. On one of the mornings we reached the lobby for breakfast at around 9.30 AM. { The breakfast timings are 7.30 AM to 10.00 AM } A number of food items were finished by the time we got there and these were not refilled even after request.

Overall, this hotel scores very high on location but loses out on room size and boarding amenities.

If you plan on staying here, ensure that you specifically request for a room on a higher floor with a good view of the Singapore river/Clarke Quay.

Small but clean. Good location - 15 minutes walk from Clark Quay MRT Station.

I only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Next time I will.
