Our first impression was the lobby, which was very well presented and clean. The man behind the desk was extremely nice and very funny. It was a very welcoming atmosphere.

When we walked into our room, we were amazed at how much room we had for just the two of us! Huge kitchen, dining table, couch, closet space, etc. We were sad we were just staying one night! The only thing I would say was a negative was that I believe we had a smoking room (we don't smoke) and there were some cigarette burns in the couch.

The location was absolutely perfect. The water was only a few blocks one way, and English Bay and Denman Street were a few blocks the other way. It is in a nice part of town and we were not concerned about walking at night. In the morning we wanted to catch a tour and all major tours had stops that were within a block or two from the hotel.

Leaving, the receptionists let us know that we could keep our car in the garage a few extra hours that day, even though we were checking out. That helped us to avoid looking for parking elsewhere in the city and paying for it! And parking is in a locked garage, which is very reassuring.

GREAT experience! I will recommend this to absolutely everyone.

Back for another 2 nights, wish it was longer.

Could not have picked a better location, bus outside the door and many restaurants and markets within 1-2 minutes walk.
You could not get better staff anywhere, they were very helpful in every aspect and nothing was any bother anytime of day or night.
After the first 2 nights we were going on a Rockies tour, it was no trouble to leave our big suitcases with them, they even went to the trouble of putting them in the basement in a locked room for 5 days. On our return we stayed another 2 nights and we were welcomed like old friends.
The room even though old and could use a revamp was comfortable enough, having a kitchen, dining and lounge was better than being in a hotel room, however don't expect five star in this area.
