We travelled on VLine from the country and had a lovely time. The Best Western Riverside Apartments were in good walking distance (carrying our bags!) and not too hard to find. I booked over the internet deliberately choosing a room with twin beds. I had confirmation but when we arrived there was no rooms with twin beds. We were upgraded for free, good for us.

The room had a poor smell to it and the furniture was old. The pull out bed in the couch was disgusting.

General location is good, but our room overlooked Flinders Lane and was extremely noisy at night with nightclubbers and garbage trucks across the road for several hours between 3-5 am. The windows did not keep this noise out, even when closed tight. Suggest that you install double glazing. I would stay again only if I were guaranteed a room with quieter location

The motel was position on a very busy and noisy road, particularly on a Friday and Saturday night. WE were committed to a 10am start and 10pm finish, making it an unpleasant and frusting night night, due to the noise (not only traffic, but more so party seekers yelling/ screaming etc). Everything else regarding the motel was fantastic. I will remain neutral in the recommendation, due to the noise, considering the price we paid.
