The hotel could be cheaper, when compared with others or when compared in what was beig offered. The TV could be newer than the present one. The remote controll was not working properly. The bed could be in a better shape - to old!

A very nice 6-floor hotel of antique style (reminds you the Napoleon times) in a great central location. We didn't really check on hotel facilities (who spends time INSIDE hotel when in Paris? :-), but was definitely great value for money. Friendly/helpful receptionists; nice breakfast, nice elevator. Hotel was just a couple minute walk from two metro stations, the Galeries LaFayette, Opera Garnier. Lots of shops/cafes/restaurants around. Two little recommendations to HolidayCity though: we had no problem with the reservation (dates/rate), just please ensure that the customer's comments are fully displayed when you send your form/voucher to the hotel reception. We had requested street-side non-smoking room under the "Comments" on your e-booking form, but the hotel had just received the first couple words of our comment (thus, they didn't see in full what we had requested), so a yard-side room was reserved. Luckily they found a street-side room for us to change the next day. We had a very nice street-side room (yard-side rooms are somewhat gloomy and lack much fresh air) with antique-style furniture; air-conditioned; bed linen was changed every day and was very clean; bathroom was tidy/clean, although didn't have a plug for hair-dryer or other appliance (note: hotel has its own dryer... good enough I guess). TV had some 20 channels, but was okay since we spent most of the day outside. Overall, was a great room and we truly enjoyed staying at Richmond Opera!
