Riad Arabesque Fes is located in the north east of Fes, with views over the Zalagh Mountains. This 19th-century boutique hotel is 200 metres from the markets of the Medina and three kilometres from the train station. From Fes Saiss International Airport (FEZ) approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is 10 kilometres (6 miles).
Medina (old town) - about 200 metres

Equestrian Centre - about 6 kilometres (3.5 miles)
Royal Palace Golf Course - about 12 kilometres (8.5 miles)
Getting there:
The train station is about three kilometres from the hotel. Alternatively, a typical taxi fare to Fes city centre is about MAD 160. Bus no. 16 runs regularly from the airport to the train station.
Getting around:
The narrow alleyways of the centre can be explored on foot, but a guide is recommended in the Old Town, Fes el-Bali, where the signs are in Arabic only. There are two types of taxis in Fes: red petit taxis are metered and are the best way to get around; grande taxis require the fare to be negotiated with the driver before departing and are often shared with other passengers. Rickshaws serve the otherwise pedestrianised Old Town. Trains and buses connect to Marrakech, Casablanca, and Rabat.
