Front-desk staff are superb, especially Shanti. If you need your room for 2 hours beyond the usual required noon hour check-out, it costs only S$10 more per hour. The entire Rendezvous Hotel is non-smoking! Location is superb, right up against the arts district; and walking distance from Chinatown & Little India; and AWAY from the exceptionally crowded/dense & noisy Orchard Road, but only a 3-min walk to this essential Singapore shopping & culinary experience.

We were really delighted when arriving in Singapore for the first time we had booked the Rendezvous hotel, exceelnt friendly but at the same time efficient staff greeted us and made us feel welcome..
WE definately will recommend the hotel...and most of all enjoyed the early morning swim.

Well managed and clean 4 star hotel. Close to MRT and walking distance to Raffles City Mall and Boat and Clarke key.

The staff were very helpful.

Since it was the period that Communicasia2006 was held, the accommodation fee is more than it worth. Besides, one of the receiptionists (who I think works during night shift, because I only saw her after 6pm) is impolite and not helpful at all. There is an indelible stain (two palms large) on the carpet, and I wonder why it was not cleaned. It's horrible.

I chose this hotel for this particular trip because of it proximity to SMU which we wanted to check out. And for this reason, it was an excellent choice. Room was ok; altho not impressive, it was clean. Bathroom, though, smelled of smoke, notwithstanding the room (and floor) being a non-smoking room (and floor).

A lovely hotel with a touch of real charm. The room was very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job in maintaining the hight standard that we expected.

The swimming pool is nice, but there is no safety guard and no other service provided. Besides, the massage service seems not function properly. The bath room is too small. I paid the Wireless lan service for internet, however, the speed is very slow. I have to wait for a long time to check one email.

I had asked for non smoking room but was given smoking room. There is no beverage provided though kettle is available.

Not as close to Orchard Road as I was led to believe. Also lots of road works and construction going on beside the hotel which you can here even on the 9th floor Bed linen had cigarette burns, found long black hairs everywhere in the duel singles room. Didn't get the double bed I booked months previous until the second night and moving rooms was stresfull. There was plenty of notice since I booked months ago so I dont see why this happened

wireless internet connection in room was poor and unreliable. The price for this service is cheap, but I would prefer to pay a bit more and get better connection.
