Having been out all day we came back to the hotel one nite & wanted to have a sauna, & was told that the gym closed @7pm, for a 4-5 * hotel I thought that was a bit naff. Having stayed at this hotel before in a double room, I really found no difference in the room itself, it was also advertised as newly refurbished but I didn't find anything newly refurbished.

A special thank you to Scott Brynner, Mr Concierge): he was able to trace down my hand bag (passport+ credit cards) lost in Brisbane in a coach and have it back in Perth by the time of our departure. Nobody else could have done such a tremendous job, and always with a smile. He really deserves a reward for his efficiency, kindness and diplomacy. Pascale Hurst

During my two day stay my room was not serviced by housekeeping.

i realise we had a special rate on the room, however, many facilities in our room were not working or broken. i.e toilet seat broken, plugs not working, lamp broken, stationery scribbled on and not replaced, no bathrobes available. it was a dissappointing stay, although the view from the room was great.

Position of the hotel excellent and again with a few additional touches and attention to detail would move from v. good to excellent class A nice room with an excellent view. Should be excellent once refurbishment has taken place.

Bed was a little too short for me (I'm about 6ft. 3in.).

Generally good value for money Excellent size and liked the large balcony although the outdoor furniture could be a little cleaner.

concierge all excellent, and above the standard of the rest of the hotel. travel cot broken, and held together by a ribbon. very dangerous, and not replaced when this pointed out.

An explanation of the parking procedure for the hotel - either when booking or when you book in. An exhaust fan in the bathroom would be good - if it is possible to install?

GREAT HOTEL. GREAT VIEWS, EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THE BED WAS TOO SOFT FOR MY LIKING BUT THATS JUST A PERSONAL THING. THE ITEMS IN THE MINI BAR A BIT PRICEY

The only down was the breakfast after spending 60 odd dollars for two the buffet food was a bit cold and unreplenished but that was the only downer everything else excellent The view was brilliant as was the decore in the room very excellent the best I have stayed in Perth
